grinding herbs
Lots of herbal formulers require thr herbs to be grinded to a fine powder.
How is this done with the likes of Sheng di huang and Shu di huang?

sticky or moist herbs are tough to grind. I found placing them on a cookie sheet in the oven on the lowest setting for a few hours will dry them a bit more to make them more readily ground.
