The only movie I cared for with Jay Chou was Initial D, the drifting in the movie was pretty cool and besides Wong Chow San played his dad.

Doug we chatted before and I know you seem like a friendly guy.

And although the topic should be apart of a different section of the forum they take issue with the fact that you come across like the Forum Police!

The Mod's would (over time) simply come and say "it belong there" and simply move it.

But you my friend is there at Post#2 harping on people a little. No offense intended just my two cents.

I guess it's just me, but something about this movie doesn't seem to work for me. Maybe when I see the actual film, versus clips, I'll have a different opinion. I'm just not expecting too much.

    Cheers,

As kung fu flicks go its certainly entertaining unless ur japanese then it might seem a bit of a p***take

Its on the internet now but it might be worth waiting to see it on the big screen.....i couldn't wait

Dont take the movie too seriously as its probably more fiction than fact and you will wont be disappointed.

Now expect your class attendances to double

Will wait another week or so to get a better quality of the dvd.

    anyways, heres the trailor. http://www.ipman-movie.com/main_en.html

btw - the release of the movie is what sparked the argument between Wu jing and the Wing chun community in HK
    Eddie:

It's not uncommon for a DVD of an anticipated movie in China to hit DVDs a month before theatrical release. Somebody gets their hands on a studio copy, pirates the hell out of it and voila.
