With the blessings of Great Grand Master Jew Leong it is with great joy that the Hung Sing Goon is reopening in San Francisco Chinatown on 16 November 2008.
The Hung Sing Kung Fu Studio is primarily traditional school of Chinese martial arts which promotes tradition & culture. It continues to be a long standing pillar in the American kung fu community & culture, being originally established by Professor Lau Bun in 1939.
We will be teaching traditional Fut San Hung Sing Choy Lee Fut from the Yuen Hai & Wong Say lineage. Students will train in traditional forms, classical weaponry, self-defense applications, sparring, Southern Lion Dance and Chinese culture.
This chapter of the Hung Sing Goon is under the direction & supervision of Grandmaster Dino "Jew Tien Loong" Salvatera. The SF Chinatown branch will be managed & classes will be taught by Sifu Lau Wing Jung a student & disciple of Grandmaster Dino.
The studio is located at 724 Commercial Street, San Francisco, Ca 94108. The studio will be open for classes every Friday evening from 6pm-9pm & Sundays from 9am to 12pm. Classes are open to all ages (kids, teens & adults). Private lessons are available by appointment. Additional classes will be open in the future.
