    People should respect their elders

People should certainly respect their CLF elders here.

By elders I mean people who are higher up on the food chain, higher generations etc.

By the way, what generations are we up to on here? Where is everybody within their CLF lineage?

And do we count Chan Heung as the first generation or the next level under as the first? I think everyone does it differently.

Just curious everyone what generation are you? Use two numbers - one if Chan Heung is 1st, or another if you count his students as 1st.

    Just curious...

I am 8th generation going by our lineage chart, counting Chan Heung. I agree with Mano Mano this is unrelated to fighting ability but it still legitimizes our particular systems.

Hey, you can be 2nd generation and still suck! LOL

I agree with everyone wholeheartedly. We are all brothers in the same style and it's nice to see where are experiences are similar and where they are not.

Today is a great time for CLF and KF in general. Just think how spread out and separated the teachings were 100 years ago, and how the internet and modern technology can keep us all together. We can now share with each other, techniques, forms, theories, stories, etc., all from our own home towns. No walking 200 miles or getting on a boat or a horse. I think it's pretty cool.

    Keep it up everyone!
