    interesting

I knew a dude in college who went into some stunt work after graduation. Well, his academics weren't all that good if I remember correctly.

I'm am in no way an expert in martial arts but I've always considered this line of work a possibility in lieu of working a regular job for now.

Just wondering; How did you guys get started?

    Cordially yours,

Thumbs up Thanks Doug and KS

    Doug,

Your stuff looks good man. I watched the fight between the Mike and Gerald. They got some good moves. The only thing I recommend is having them put more snap in the movements to sell it more. Once they have that, they are golden. I friended you on youtube. So I look forward to seeing anything new you post. Those Who Go to Hell will be released as episode segments in late February. So I'll be in touch.

    KS,

You do not have to technically be a good martial artist to be good at martial arts stunts. Sometimes having too much martial arts experience can be a barrier.

When you execute movie punches or kicks, it has be to exaggerated and extended out wider for the camera to see it.

When you have someone that is very good martial arts that is used to very tight movements in styles like Wing Chun, it will be difficult to catch the movements on film or video.

I pretty much got into because I have been studying martial arts since I was a toddler. Just like every other kid, I wanted to be the next Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, etc.

When I found my group about two years ago, that's pretty much when everything blew up for me.

I started booking a lot of independent film roles and recently, I just started booking SAG union work.

I'm still trying to climb that ladder just like many struggling actors.

So that's my short story for now.

    Keep in touch.

    hey,

that was actually a rough cut of the fight, my editor used the wrong takes the fight scene has been recut by myself since then. the scene was from a feature film, thats been done. that fight scene was choreagraphed by myself and manny brown who played gerald in the movie. it was choreagraphed on set in about two hours and then shot.

    Manny Brown

    HeH

I remember Manny Brown from the good ol NASKA circuit.

Back in the day, he was one of the primary trickers.

LBP has collaborated with Team FS. Have you heard of them??

This is the project that was worked on in Boston.

Manny from my group did the stunt coordination for this.
