Very well done, better than most trailers I have seen as of late.

    That was freaking sweet!

I have not had a chance to look at the trailer (cant access from work) but isn't this cartoon to live action stuff starting to go a bit far? At first it was kind of exciting, but I think the public is going to get tired of it real quick. Nostalgia will turn to disgust pretty quickly, IMO.

So what do we have now:

    He-Man (HORRIBLE)
Transformers (Pretty good, although I like the original movie better)
    GI-Joe (TBD)
    Ninja Scroll (TBD)
    Thundercats (TBD)
    Avatar (TBD)
Garfield (Didnt have to see - CRAP)
Alvin and the Chipmunks (Didnt have to see - CRAP)
    Scooby Do (Ugh... CRAP)
Speed Racer (I got it from Netflix about 3 months ago - havent watched it yet)

I dont put TMNT in this category since it started out as a comic (although some of these others started out as manga)

I am sure I am forgeting some.

Whats next? Gummy Bears? Snorks? Golgo 13 (yes!)?

I see now that I over-reacted. I thought it was a real movie (although I should have figured it out - no way Brad Pitt would be in this movie). I sent it to my wife to watch for me and she gave me the low-down.

Honestly these MOCAP movies fail to excite me.

Sure gollum interacted better with his environment than previous CGI characters...

But he's still clearly an anim.

Dang, some people got a lot of time on their hands....

Thundercats was all about Cheetara. Something about a woman in a cat suit. Meow.*

    Was that Garfield as Snarf?

*I was going to find a link for the cat suit, but then I decided that task would be better left to sanjuro_ronin.

Gene... you just invented a new movie genre - cartoon characters playing other characters in other cartoons!!!!!!!!!

    Example:
Krillin (from Dragon Ball) playing Ang (from Avatar)

My brain is fried and I can only think of one example. I thought this would be easy.

    Wc

    Wicked City anime was cool.

I thought the live action HK version left a lot to be desired.
