    OT: Zen author Bill Porter

    Has trasnslated The Diamond Sutra and Heart Sutra among others. Also has a fun book: Road to heaven, encounters with Chinese Hermits.

    He is travelling around China again, visiting historical temple sites. Im close to the part where he visits Shaolin. Anyway, good reading here. And I recommend his other books too.

    Nice find

    I loved Road to Heaven: Encounters with Chinese Hermits. It wasn't that flattering about Shaolin, if memory serves. I also enjoyed Porter's Heart Sutra, but I read a reader's copy, not the finished work, for that one.

    Zen Baggage: A Pilgrimage to China - what a great title.
