1st Annual Chinese Free Mason Lion Dance Competition Kung-Fu Demo!

Hey,...the competition was great today! A super-well run even that was on T.V., Radio and ENDED EARLY! Unbelievable!!!

The Chinese Free Masons and the Asian Lion Dance League did an amazing job!

Anyway, we did a little demo during the middle and here it is.

Two of my students, Cassidy Huie and Eric Fong did a great job! I constructed the set a few days ago and that had a few late nights this week....

A slippery floor and a few little mistakes, but they are on their way to getting this down perfect in no time. We'll post it again in a few days when they nail it!

    Enjoy.

It was a cool event (actually, no. It was under heated tents, HA!)

Actually, ran super-smooth..and you know that those things usually don't.

You were missed but not forgotten. Many stories over tea about our classmates, teacher, etc. If you'd have been there drinking milk, you'd have spit it out your nose.

Especially the story about the person with the whole in their sweat pants and the hungry pitbulls!!! LOL

cool! There is alot of Chan Tai-San in your movements. Very reminiscent of your Sifu. Keeping his memory alive!

    Talking Who won first prize?

A lion dance event hosted by the Freemasons? Does that pretty much mean the Freemasons took 1st place prize?
