i just don't get it. hahahaha why would a woman shave her legs to get them all smooth and sexy and NOT shave her pits? I think i'd rather have her have hairy legs than hairy pits.

hahahahaha......i have this phobia of hairy pitted women putting their arms around my neck and their little hairs tickling and touch my neck.

But i have heard as well some people are attracted to hairy pitted women, and the funk that comes from them. I've smelled some funky arse women in my past, and was never turned on.........gag reflex kicked in.

I remember long ago i was on the bus, sitting in the back when this young pretty chinese girl wearing a sleevless suit. there were no more seats so she had to stand. Then she reached up to hold the bar, and OMG i didn't think any female's armpits could be that hairy.

i don't like cave women.....i like your modern woman......and if that means she's bald downstairs too........then it's time to play.

Be that as it may the Phonecians still never left the mediterranean on their naval voyages while the vikings sailed to and colonized Iceland, Greenland and Vineland by 1000 AD.

Each to his own I guess. I'd much rather get close to a woman who didn't shave than a women that you can't even get close to without gagging from her perfume and she can't even put her head on your shoulder without leaving about a half of pound of makeup on your shirt or coat.

All in all looks are not that terribly important to me, I mean as long as a woman isn't 5'3" and weighs 250+ then I can dig it.

The one thing I draw the line at is smoking. To me there is no bigger turn off than to get close to a woman and smell cigarettes on her....I don't care what she looks like.

Read it. It makes reference only to travels WITHIN the mediterranean. Which is well documented... and which I don't dispute.

    Ok... managed to access phoenecia.org

Words like pseudo-science and bupkiss spring quickly to mind as soon as I see:

    The Biblical Clues
The legendary mines of King Solomon made him the wealthiest ruler of his time (900 BC). The exact location or even the existence has been hotly debated, however the Bible itself is fairly well proven in historical data, moreover there is no mention of "King Solomon's Mines" - rather it states flatly that he contacted his friend and ally to the north, King Hiram to hire his men to build and man his fleet of vessels. Hiram was ruler of Tyre in Phoenicia, whose sailing men were renowned for their wide ranging travels. The fleet left from the Red Sea port of Ezion Geber, and returned to Joppa and Tyre, ports on the Mediterranean. The voyage took three years, each time returning laden with silver, gold, ivory, gems, spices and incense, and rare "almug" wood. The fleet had gone to the fabulous lands of Tarshish and Ophir, which are mentioned elsewhere in the Bible as being rich in precious metals and other trade items. Tarshish is situated in southwestern Spain, and was known to the Greeks as Tartessus. The book of Jonah in the Old Testament provides further proof of the location of Tarshish, since Jonah fled to Joppa where he boarded a "ship of Tarshish" to flee there, so it is evident that voyages could depart in either direction, east or west from the Levant. Ophir has not been found, but the name itself is a clue to its origins. The Greeks, Romans, and Egyptians rarely (if ever) used a name for a city or town ending in "IR" - while the Phoenicians did - for example Agadir in Iberia, or Rusaddir on the north coast of Africa. Tarshish was a Celt-Iberian city, destroyed by Celts in the pay of Carthage in about 500 BC. Carthage soon became the pre-eminent sea power in the western Mediterranean, up to the disastrous wars with Rome. Josephus, a first century AD Hebrew historian who served the Romans thought that Ophir was merely Sophir, or India and that the "golden chersonessus" was also India. The Greeks proved that idea false, as little gold was found there by them and in fact most gold there was imported as well. Furthermore it would have been cheaper and faster to travel there overland rather than risk the lengthy 3 year sea voyage, a ridiculous length of time if the ships were merely traveling from the Red Sea to India and back.
Then there is this disclaimer at the start of the article on the phoenician connection to the celts:

Note: The excerpts and conclusions which are herewith provided are mere speculations. They are kindly presented by a scholar who wishes to remain anonymous. The author/compiler of this Web site presents them for your consideration. They do not necessarily represent his opinion even when he is open to higher criticism.
The information on Brazil is predicated on the destruction of Atlantis, a fictional event invented as allegory by Plato and is clearly non-academic. The author states (and I quote)
There is no scientific or cultural work in Brazil that has affirmative data about the Phoenician coming to its territory. However, there are in some foreign material references to the Phoenecian navigators in Brazilian lands before its European discovery. Although that information may seem unreal, legendary and fictitious, I want to believe that it is really true.
    The Australia article says
"There are no documented material finds (in Brazil or Australia) and the Phoenician inscriptions that were 'found' in Brazil were 'lost' before they could be studied," she said. "As for Australia, well, let's say right now that's very, very far-fetched, isn't it?"
Dude you have to read this stuff before you post it....

Atlantis and a bunch of refutations of fringe theories from a non-academic website... oh... and a newspaper article that supports what I was saying.

Thing thing about this Atlantis is that if Socrates (Or whoever for that matter) knew about this then it was around during recorded history. I think any event that would plunged a entire city/nation into the ocean would have been something that would have been mentioned somewhere.

I have read somewhere that many cultures have enchant legends of a continent that disappeared or was destroyed. It may be worthwhile for those who are interested to investigate this further.
