    Dhani Tackels the Globe

I saw what I think was the first episode the other night on the travel channel. He went to Thailand and trained Muay Thai and fought in a bout.
Although he fought a big schlub, I thought the insight on the show was good. I think compared to other travel/fighting shows Dhani showed the most respect and intent to learn as properly as he could about the style and especially culture and ettiquette (sp?).
I guess it was really hard to find someone who was anywhere near as big as he was to fight him. Just the same, I think if they put him in with a somewhat smaller guy, but better trained, he may have found himself in trouble. Even still I look forward to watching it from now on. Not bad. Had a little more of a raw documentary appeal than Fight Quest and the like.
