I totally agree with you there.

But fortunately the guys who print those mags don´t post in this forum whereas there are many clueless "masters" here who are here to push some MMA agenda at the expense of the TCMA way (and reputation) which most of them badmouth, one way or the other.

It is fortunate that nowadays there are more traditionalists posting here and that means that some of these glorified kickboxers (who claim "kung fu" knowledge) are shown to be the clueless lot that they are and hence their reaction.

There is nothing wrong with having a modern MMA approach. To each his own but some of these guys are actually putting down TCMA practices that they do not themselves understand, nor have any hope of understanding, in favor of the "modern" way, for reasons of ego and business (student recruitment from this forum and dvd sales, etc.) That is my beef with them.
