OT Warning: Oct 31 Anniversary of EgyptAir Flight 990

Terrorists will sometimes execute an operation on the anniversary of another act. Maybe something, maybe nothing.

    Info on Flight 990

I don't buy the US missle theory for 800, I don't know about the vapor theory either. But as we now know the old way of terrorists groups taking credit for an operation is a thing of the past.

U.S. missle? no, I don't think so either.
The web site makes the case, and a good case, that a missle did shoot doown the plane. After all, over 100 people on the ground witnessed the missle going up from the ocean and hitting the jet. There was also military people who were in other jetliners who saw the missle travel towards flight 800 and who witnessed the bright white explosion of the missle going off and also saw the orange explosion of the jet itself. It was probably a terrorist act and the FBI is doing a great job covering it up.

The photos you posted show the initial launch projection of a stinger missle. There is a launch canaster that pushes the missle forward so that its rocket blast won't affect the men launching it. After about 20-40 ft( I think ) the rocket engine fires and the missle really takes off. After that point the missle glare is evident and there is also a smoke trail.
183 witnesses describe seeing this streak of light going upward and 96 of those placed the origin of the missle as on the ocean.

It better have left a trail for anyone to see it,

    Length: 5 ft.
    Diameter: 3 inches
    Speed: Mach 2.2

I don't remember seeing a trail but my exposure to them has been limited. Maybe some active military types here know better than me.
