Marylyn Chambers Joins the Ancestors.

Although perhaps somewhat unrelated from martial arts media; nonetheless it did catch my eye yesterday when I saw that Marylyn Chambers (of Ivory Soap/Behind the Green Door fame) passed on. For better or worse she and the Mitchell Brothers (who are a criminal justice story onto themselves, with their murder case) were part of the San Francisco “alternative media” scene.

She was only 56 according to the Yahoo news. I remember she was in the very first Playboy that I ever bought off the rack (as opposed to earlier ones that I and my friends fished out of garbage cans!).
