barely paying rent my friend...we didn't go to the Great Lakes Tourney this year due to lack of funds all the way around the school. Gonna have to stick close to home for a bit.

    good luck.

it was a nice, smoothly run, tournament.
I drove down from NY to DC-just to lend a helping hand and support Sifu Thomas in his first tournament.

8 hrs down- I got lost in PA, hit torrential rain, caught in bumper to bumper traffic-(nobody mentioned there was a "pride" Parade going on Sat night. -that would explain the drag queens and the guys in speedos with the balloons..) but going back was a smooth 4 hrs)

I ran the kid's division, and the students and helpers that assisted me were very helpful. We bent over backwards making sure that everyone had a good experience, so they would bring more people next year.
We even ran extra divisions, and split divisions so everyone would get a fair chance.
We even created a new division for kids under eight years old weapons-
    "Running with Scissors!"

I would also like to thank Sifu Raymond Wong for graciously inviting us out to lunch afterward. I will be making the drive down to DC again next weekend for his annual tournament.

Awesome! Glad everything went smoothly, hopefully the next one will be even more successful!
