    Moving to MN

So it appears I'm going to be moving to Minneapolis (or possibly St Paul) in a few months, and I'll need to find myself a new kwoon. There will, of course, be a rather greater number of choices open to me there than there are here in Ft Collins, and I was just wondering if there were any schools in particular in the Twin Cities area that you folks would recommend I check out. I'm open to try out just about anything style-wise, though a school with a solid focus on application rather than forms-collecting would be preferable. Thanks in advance!

    Master Gin Foon Mak

It would be good fortune to learn from him in Minneapolis before he retires.

I'm just north of that area. Welcome to the coldest region in the universe.

    I agree with Joy,

Get some of the better SPM while Shifu Mark is still teaching.

Hence they hide rather than be known as adults.

I was really considering checking out the SPM here in the twin cities, I'm current training wing tzun under the ebmas system over on S Lyndale in minneapolis, it's cheap, effective and the people involved are one of a kind.

That's how I feel about inbred mutant hookers.

I know, you think people would learn by now.
It is bias to think that the art of war is just for killing people. It is not to kill people, it is to kill evil. It is a strategem to give life to many people by killing the evil of one person.

If you want longarm Kung Fu, then I'd heartily recommend my Sihing Eric at Golden Leopard Choy Li Fut http://goldenleopardkungfu.com/blog/
If you want shorthand, then yeah, it's gonna be hard to beat Gin Foon Mark.
If you want WC then there used to be a Foshan WC school at Rising Sun martial arts (cool supply store in St Paul with a gym attached. Nice folks and a good source of info), don't know if it's still there though.
