So, we are to NOT listen to several recordings…but to listen to a news pundit…. As well as not thinking for ourselves since I DID watch and listen to the original – it was not a loud “Booo” but more of a “grumble grumble boo” if the word boo was even used.

What a sideways understanding of what was said you have. I was equating the grumbles to the cheers. Both have been done before…but NOT the direct statement in the form of a verbal attack like Wilson did. There is a difference.

And what does this have to do with anything? The topic was about a congressman violating the rules of the Chamber with his statements…as well as him ignoring the standards and decorum set in the tradition (as in the Conserve root of the term Conservative).

Now, if you are referring to Cheney, it may be very true that we all say things about those we oppose or do not like in private. It is totally another thing to take those statements in the same language to a public and a recorded forum. Cheney showed a lack of control and a foul demeanor. There are ways he could have said things with the exact same meaning but not have come off as a jerk. Doubt that…try using that same language in a business meeting and see how your next performance review goes.

Please rewrite that oath at your earliest for all of us to review. I want to know when it is NOT a violation of medical ethics for a doctor to ignore a wounded / injured person in need of medical care…. And while you are at it, repeal all of the Good Samaritan laws.

You Neos have developed a plan that started with the Town Hall meetings. That is to infiltrate any polical gathering and take it over by shouting over the the main speaker or the moderator and by intimidation. According to you Wilson has every right, under the Constitution, to disrupt the President's speech. I disagree. He is completely free to call a news conference afterwards and express his point of view. Otherwise the idea of having anyone speak in congress will be pointless. Do you have proof of such? If so, I'm sure local authorities would be very much interested in any violence that was directed at anyone.

To be honest I haven't heard of any thing like that happening in years and years. However, in years gone by, if was usually the union agitator in the workplace that wound up in the hospital after trying to get workers to join the union.
