    Always a great gun. I bought mine because Springfield now offers them "Fully Loaded" with options that you would normally pay for in the aftermarket.

    Springfield is making the 1911 that the FBI SWAT trained team uses. $2,400 each.

    Check out Kimber ( http://www.kimberamerica.com ), they make one of the best 1911's on the market without getting into extreme high prices (Bottom line Wilson Combat, $1,500.00)

    I usually carry a S&W .40. On hot days, I carry a Colt .380.

    I always have my 4 inch folder on me. As far as traditional weapons go, I like the Dao. It's a lot like a baseball bat when you think about it.

    Didn't know so many people carried guns around. I always hated guns, but now i'm thinking why train Martial Arts if your gonna get shot to death.

    BTW guns are used 2 million times a year in this country for self defense.
