I never really paid that much attention to that stuff when I was told that ( legs crossed or open) years ago when I was doing Hung Kuen in Toronto's Chinatown.

I don't know either, I left and went elsewhere and my current HK Sifu and his brother (SPM) are both "retired" from commercial teaching.
