As far as I know, it is a real style and I have read somewhere (can't remember where) that it is supposed to be a high level Tiger system. High level would imply greater emphasis into the internal side of the martial training.

I just remembered that somewhere it said that this is a "forbidden" style. I am trying to remember where I read this so as to provide you with a reference. When I do, then I will post it here for you immediately.

    Oh my,

If you read the threads, and you are still confused, you need to ask your Mom to read them too and explain it to you.

Are "forbidden styles" now posting clips on YouTube? LOL

Years ago I remember articles in Inside Kung Fu discussing Bak Mei (White Eyebrow). It was described as a "forbidden style" because supposedly the founder was the betrayer of the Shaolin temple monks. Now I see kwoon that offer Hung Gar (child system of one of the Five Ancestors) and Bak Mei training. Though Inside Kung Fu was never one of the most accurate mags out there.

    LOL! Shaw Bros history!

White Tiger appears to me to be an offshoot of Bak Mei.

it is pretty much the exclusive fabrication of one chef in a black hat. who denies he had anything to do with training crazy santa how to crush coconuts after hitting them a few times and drawing blood from oneself in the doing of same.

    sounds crazy, I know.

    sound's crazy.

    crazy.

    that's how it goes. lol

I wouldn't tell the bak mei people that. that's like saying ernie moores squirrel fu is an offshoot of Hung Kuen.

or shaolin do is actually shaolin! lol

I'm all piss and vinegar today! at first it was just vinegar! (thanks abe)

    Hello Sifu Chu,

I am a little confused. Does the style of White Tiger actually exist? Or is it another name for a particular Pak Mei lineage? Or is it just a figment of someone's imagination?
