During a Dec. 30 broadcast, Matthews confessed to his guests that he believes the plotters behind an attempt on a Christmas day flight into Detroit probably made more than one bomb. "They are out there to get us," he said.

"And I think we have got to get serious about catching terrorists, not just catching weapons," Matthews continued. " I‘m waiting for the terrorist who knows kung fu or something that gets on an airplane without a weapon. God knows what that is going to be like."

Has been for some time.

Self empowered people who think freely have been a threat since the dawn of social constructs, why would it be different now? (rhetorical)

Society is repulsed by violence for the most part, but fascinated by it when it is contained.

Seems this is also true of many a martial artist themselves! lol
Which is the odd part, but is in a strange way tied to ones self preservation.

sort of national guard or home guard.

in the old time, village people work on farms, during "rest" time, they practice kung fu.

they are called upon for local defense against bandits and foreign tribes.

they are also called upon, one boy per family to fight war.

terror comes in many forms.

for underdeveloped countries: lack of food, water, medicine and schooling, these are terrors. hunger, disease, unable to read and write are terrors.

for a congested highway, crasy traffic is a terror for a motorist.

high living cost, skyrocketing housing price, oil price are terrors for would be home owner

high tax for low income people are terrors

police giving out tickets due to meeting the city quota for revenue

lack of fund for public tv and public school

cutting college classes and raising college tuition due to state budget deficit

scarcity of water and electricty for southern california

earth quake and tsunami without early warning system

carrying a gun just to attend a high school

alcohol, drugs, cigarettes to teen
