    I got the job!

A few of you might know I was approached for a new position with a new company. Super excited, had my interview this morning, got the call on lunch. I've been looking at this position for a while. I was offered it a month ago if it became available. Nice big raise, a higher level position than I hold now, new company. Much more classy of an environment. I havent decided for certain whether I'll accept it, but of course I'm sure I will, too good of an oportunity to pass up. I'm a loyal person, so its just hard leaving a company ive been with for this many years.

just wanted to boast my success somewhere and i have to keep it secret from everyone around me right now lol

Congrats. Hope you enjoy the new job.
When given the choice between big business and big government, choose big business. Big business never threw millions of people into gas chambers, but big government did.

Well done and, I suspect, well earned. It's fine to toot your own horn among brothers and sisters. The sound of a horn is a blessed relief from the sounds of chest thumping around here.

Just don't get a car. You don't need it.

Well,...maybe a motorcycle to get you out of town once in awhile.

Hope the new gig works with your training schedule.

    congratulations lucas!
What would happen if a year-old baby fell from a fourth-floor window onto the head of a burly truck driver, standing on the sidewalk?
It's practically certain that the truckman would be knocked unconscious. He might die of brain concussion or a broken neck.
Even an innocent little baby can become a dangerous missile WHEN ITS BODY-WEIGHT IS SET INTO FAST MOTION.
