Jingwu teachers in 1909 are who?

I am doing the final editing for my upcoming book on the early years of the Jingwu Association. There are two teachers on the teaching staff in 1909 that I can not identify. Does anybody know anything about either of these two teachers?

    Liu zhi-shang劉致祥
    Sun chzn-shen孫贊軒

    thanks much,
    Brian Kennedy

Liu Zhixiang was from Hebei, I think, originally. Was from Eagle Claw style.

    Good Morning Skip,
Thanks much for the kind words. Liz and I appreciate that. One of the things I really hope is that the photos turn out well. The Anniversary book has tons of great photos but the problem is trying to reproduce them. The art layout folks at North Atlantic say the photos should look sharp and that would be great. It is interesting to see traditional Chinese martial arts in action---from a 100 years ago. I had forgotten but this year 2010 is being celebrated as the 100 Anniversary of the Jingwu.

    take care,
    Brian

You and Liz make a great team - as I have said here several times before - the history is always presented by ya'll in a straight forward manner that does not include an underlying agenda, and usually you take great pains to explain what other folks related agendas were so long ago. Thats' a whole lot of background legwork I don't have to do to wind up with the balanced material to consider.

Re: photos - did you notice that the Jet Li movie used the same old photos that are on most of the Chin Woo websites??? It was really cool to look up on the screen and say hey - those guys look familiar....

Yes - the 100 years of Chin Woo celebration in Shanghai will be this summer, for those lucky folks who can afford to go.... Me... I'll be reading your book at just about that moment.

All the best to you and Liz!
