    Samson is a tall tale told in traditions to demonstrate the power of god working through men.

    It is highly unlikely that anyone at any time killed 1000 people in one go with a bone vs swords, spears, shields etc.

    makes for an attentive catechism class though.

    Ya, thats crazy talk Uki. I'm pretty sure that The Red Dragon really had a magical spear that he used to kill his adversary that was brought back to life with a metal tank and made invincible by the yi chang witch....i mean, how could that be made up....

    i don't think you could make up a story of magical weapons fashioned from metallic alloys derived from meteorites though.

    thats how i fashion all my weapons! i have a 12 gauge moon rifle that turns slugs into cosmic stardust that explode on contact.

    spirit can also be likened to intention... not that it IS intention, just that it tends to behave in a similar fashion.

    i dunno. i like chocolate, yet despise football... so ummmm... i can't relate to the metaphor here.
