Anyone with ideas, thanks!
What do you all think about Cordyceps? I remember having some in some medicine at one time in China. Worked well at the time. But I didn't have very much of it.

I just want to know who the heck figured out that cordyceps could be used a performance enhancing substance.

At the time I had an extremely nasty cough. Long story short, I ended up at an herbs market with a monk getting a formula filled for jook. I remember seeing the "cordyceps," and asked my friend what it was. He said it was a mushroom, obviously, and that it was necessary to make my cough go away.
I just remember it working really well quick. Before that if I ever had a cough (which anyone will have at some point living in China) I would just go get that ground up ginseng mix in packets, or I would drink some good snake wine.
Anyways, I miss Mountain Yam...![]()
Heard it was someone in Tibet watched yaks eat it and then watched the yaks mate like weasels in heat.
Who knows....
Its a very good herb.

Hence they hide rather than be known as adults.
Dale,
I started to put an Attn. to you in this thread actually.
You really think it is a good herb? Why is it good?
How much is it here in the States, and is it readily availabe at herb shops? I know of a few markets that I went to in China had various kinds of it for outrageous prices.
Now that I think of it, just for eating in jooks and that I really miss some good Mountain Yam. Always made my insides feel cool but refreshed...I miss some good Yam...![]()
