The first form seen in this video, a small group form is almost identical to the first form taught in Tai Chi Praying Mantis Kung fu, Bada Mabu (Eight Basic Stances).

I was wondering if this form is taught in Seven Star Mantis and if it is called Bada Mabu.

That form is Bada Mabu from Tai Chi PM. Our school's main curriculum is Seven Star, as taught by Lai Sigung to my Sifu, Samuel. However, Sifu often goes to NY to train with Chuy Sipak, so we have a few elements from Tai Chi PM - Chiu Chuk Kai line. In this particular video, besides 8 Basic Stances, Dai Doe and Spear forms are also Tai Chi PM forms.

Thank you for the information. I thought I recognized the spear form. It looks like Say Moon Chiang(Four Door Spear). It is nice to see that different branches of mantis can share material.
