Does anyone end their sessions with circuits comprising of various movements from their gung fu mixed with standard exercises?
Just coming up with something on the fly as an example, ten 3 min rounds of...
1. Chain punching (lin wan kuen)
2. Burpees
3. High-low chain kicks
4. Squats
5. Pushups
6. Jump-rope
7. Tan-gaan da's
8. Advancing footwork - retreating footwork
9. Circling elbows (huen jang) w/ 180' turning stance (chor ma)
10. Bong, Tan sao, jing jeung
Does anyone else do anything like this? Care to share your circuits?
"I don't know if anyone is known with the art of "sitting on your couch" here, but in my eyes it is also to be a martial art.
It is the art of avoiding dangerous situations. It helps you to avoid a dangerous situation by not actually being there. So lets say there is a dangerous situation going on somewhere other than your couch. You are safely seated on your couch so you have in a nutshell "difused" the situation."
