I think mainly his uncle-in-law, who was a buk sing practioner. My sifu LKH mentioned he came and studied privately with him but I don't think it was for very long and possibly sifu was just screwing with us when he told us that.

    Fu Sheng

Remember him in the Shaw Brother movies being a fairly good actor. Have heard that he died young and people claim his ghost wanders the old Shaw Bros. sets. Just bought a copy of a film he starred in "The Brave Archer".

A few months ago, someone on kungfucinema had posted several photos of Fu Sheng being trained in CLF for his role in New Shaolin Boxers. They were taken from an old HK magazine, so I don't know who the teacher was, though it showed them training on a rooftop.

To see Fu Sheng in his finest performances, check out:
    Disciples of Shaolin
    Shaolin Martial Arts
    New Shaolin Boxers

Some people who were only exposed to some of his later roles or appearances (Legendary Weapons of China, etc., etc.) think of him as an annoying clown, but he was one of the better actors in martial arts films, and his performing was also very good before he suffered injuries filming two different movies, after which his onscreen fighting was never the same until he died in the car crash.

    You are in Luck....

    Greetings,

Considering the large number of magazine that I have, I managed to put my hands on a Secrets of Kung Fu magazine, Vol.3 No.1. (1978)

I will paraphrase and condense some of it.

Master Chen Jih Liang is a well known master of the Choi Li Fut style who was teaching in Canada up until 1976. It was then that he accepted the invitation of Shaw Brothers' Chang Che and went to Hong Kong to establish a martial arts training course. The participants were featured in the movie tha Shaolin Monastery. He has trained numerous disciples, among them Fu Sheng.
