Does anybody here train simply because they like it?

I used to train at a TWC school because I liked it. It closed and I had to look for another school to train at. I tried BJJ and still train it. I train it because I like it. It may or may not be useful in a fight for me but I don't care. The last time I was involved in anything that went beyond harsh language was back in 1974 when I was still in the Marines.

So, all the fighting arguments to a large degree are a straw man because the majority of people who train aren't going to fight in the ring and the chances of them getting in a "street fight" are almost nill.

Brian Mayers(sp?). He taught at a small school he had in Blackwood NJ. He used to have a couple of people, Claudio and someone else, it's been awhile, come to teach on occasion. They were from Master Keith's school.

It was a lot of fun but the school closed.
