It looks like the legs are being used to keep him from rolling out of the sub. The sub simply looks like a chickenwing or hammerlock (pick your name its still the same hold).

EDIT: maybe the leg is in the elbow joint to set up a bicep crush?

So to recap.. Johnathan Ivey fakes a heart attack, drops Travis Fulton, proceeds to follow up with GNP... then decides he can't punch his idol in the face anymore and taps out. #mmathings

*****es get broken. Eyelids are lost. Kicks temporarily disfigure opponents’ faces. Impossible “rolling thunder” kicks actually land. And sometimes things get so gross that they cause viewers to vomit.

However, the main event of Saturday night’s fight between heavyweights Travis Fulton (256-54-10) and Jonathan Ivey (41-57-0) at Colosseum Combat 45 in Indiana might be the weirdest finish of them all.

In the first round, Ivey keeled over and grabbed the right side of his chest, feigning a heart attack. He then sprang forward, sucker punched and dropped Fulton, and got in top position, whereupon he started landing some vicious ground and pound, according to MMAMania.com.

Faking a heart attack would have been weird enough, but Ivey figured out how to make things even stranger. After waling on Fulton for a less than a minute, Ivey abruptly stopped his attack, stood up and tapped out.

Apparently, Ivey idolizes Fulton and didn’t have the heart to beat up his hero. Ivey is such a big fan of Fulton, in fact, that he reportedly has a tattoo of the fighter on his leg.

Ivey’s antics weren’t entirely surprising, however. The journeyman is known for being a bit eccentric in the cage.

In a fight against the legendary Ken Shamrock, Ivey deployed somersaults for no apparent reason.

"The Ironman" Travis Fulton (255-54-10, 1 NC) about to fight THE Johnathan Ivey right now. Yes, that Jonathan Ivey. This should be bad and hilarious. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ua9w...ature=youtu.be

And then, in another bout, he tried to use the crane kick from “Karate Kid” only to be knocked out cold.
