Last day for discount reg for Tiger Claw's KungFuMagazine.com Championship II

The LAST registration discount deadline is this Saturday, 5/29. Register NOW!

We are importing an official PUSH HANDS rug from China. It's akin to a competition wushu rug, only a different texture, square in shape and it has a big yin yang in the middle. I can't wait to see this thing.

Also every Push Hands competitor will receive a token gift, a Xian Terracotta Warrior statue, just for entering.

As of now, there is only one person entered as a Grand contender

...so he'll automatically win if no one else steps forward. That would be a shame as any Grand deserves some challenge. There are plenty of competitors in the internal rings, just no one else going for the Grand. For the Grand, you need an empty hand form, a weapon and push hands. There's a nice big trophy for the Grand Champion, along with a pic in the next issue, so I hope some more people step up.

    Absolutely!

We had a decent turnout for the Push Hands division - not too big and not too small - perfect for a new division. It was a good start and it looks like we'll do it again next year.

    Internal Grand Champion Events

For the 2016 competition, are the required events for the Internal Grand Champion the same as for the other divisions -- one empty hand form and two weapons forms?

    Our rules aren't published yet.

We're putting the final touches on revisions now. Here is rules for the Tai Chi Grands this year, as it stands now. Note: we reserve the right to make alterations until it is 'officially' announced. There is discussion over the Tai Chi Grands. We'll have more for you soon.

To qualify for Overall Grand Champions, competitors must compete in three divisions. Empty Hand Form and 2 Weapon Forms (each Weapon Form must be of a separate division).
