No animals or French ookairs were harmed in the making of my book

Actually, there was that plate of scorpions. Oh, and the pig slaughtered outside the wushuguan. I retold those stories, right? So I recant. Some animals were harmed in the production of my book, but the ookairs were safe.

Gene do you ever watch Anthony Bourdain? He constantly has to watch animals get slaughtered on the show and it's hilarious how he reacts to it. Sometimes I guess the best meals come from recently deceased animals. lol.

    Actually no

I don't watch cooking shows. I had to google Anthony Bourdain to find out who he was.

But it does stand to reason that freshly slain meat is better. Back when I was carnivorous, that seemed to hold true. In China, there's not much refrigeration, so if it's not fresh, it's stale. I think I might have touched on that in my book too. Maybe not. I can't remember what got in the book and what was in old articles now.

    Funniest answers ever!

So with our online sweepstakes, we always have a question. It's mostly to sort out the spambots, and somewhat to sort out the non-martial artists. I always try to compose the questions so the answers are fairly easy for martial arts aficionados. For my book promo, I asked "How would you have Gene Ching autograph Shaolin Trips?" The replies have been freaking hilarious. So many requests that involve nachos - I'm really honored.

Ironically, even with such an easy question, we still got a few "Mother's maiden name" and "pet's name" replies. Stupid spambots!

    "Sin and Gin"

Nice. Sure covered a lot of ground. seems like there's a few paragraphs at least for all the big threads in the forum now. I'd love to cut and paste it around, but I'll leave it alone...
