    Brother Frank,

your article was a great piece on your teacher and his lineage.

I think he would be very proud of you and your training brothers for the work you do in keeping his branch alive and kicking into the 21st century.

Thank you for sharing with us brother!

    Gene,
Excellent issue, I like the new look! The magazine is certainly the best of this genre.

However, I found one minor error on page 19 in the The King of the Beasts article. Tiger Head Hooks (虎 頭 鉤) should be hu tou gou, not hu tou guo.
But a darn nice article otherwise.

    Ha. Good eye, mooyingmantis.

If that's the only typo you've found, we did well this time. I think my most common pinyin dyslexic flip is the 'ou' vs. 'uo'. That one just drives me batty. I'm impressed that you caught that.

Sifu Dennis Brown- Jow Ga? I'm thinking of the image of walking into a bright office and asking about the classes there or the style of Sifu Dennis Brow behind a desk with papers on it.

    No_Know

It was cute to relay what Kung-Fu Schools there were in Washington DC and to see the zones for the different systems.

To my comprehend, there was Jow Ga Florida Avenue and a guy near the north end of Adams Morgan (a few blocks away) and China Town.

Tien Shan Pai was two locations in DC China Town with the Grand Master in those locations--the original location with wall paining advertising (Tien Shan Pai, Northern Shao-Lin, weapons...) to the middle of the block above the years ago CVS (on the corner, across the street from the (Yellow-line Green-line)Gallery Place Metro entrance (seventh Street?) Tien Shan Pai went on up to Russel~ Street Gaither's burg where there was mantis done(at least as part of what went on there). I had a book (Leung Ting) On three forms of Seven-Star Praying Mantis (so it was nice to see). Each a different level...[A little Ou-Lou-Tsai break...o.k.] And Hung Fot in Silver Spring then to Kensington my comprehend.

Thinking of a city zone as Kung-Fu turfs was kind-of nifty.

    Glimpsed on the magazine case/rack—newsstand
    Nice cover September issue 2010

Our UNABRIDGED cover story is now live.

    That Kung Fu Guy

There was a huge section that I had to cut out from the print version on Brown's work with legendary director Chang Cheh. Enjoy!

Just got an email from a friend in London who ordered 12 copies of the magazine direct from a distributor to help meet the additional demand!
