    Ninja Ichi

    Here's our first entry.

    Ninja Ichi - 忍者一

Unfortunately, it's a DQ because Tiger Claw doesn't carry a white ninja mask anymore. White ninjas are so 80s.

Ninja Weekly special at Tiger Claw

Here's the Weekly Specials for Tiger Claw this week:

    Ninja Black Wooden Sword

    Ninja Hi-Top Tabi

I caught some documentary on Japanese construction worker fashion the other day. Apparently Japanese construction workers, especially the people that work on hi-rise scaffolding, still use tabi-style shoes. They showed some industrial tabi that had steel toes and belt straps.

ok...just checked, pretty much all my tops of either persuasion are TC...do we need to take pictures of labels to prove such?

so, top, pants and tabi's will all be TC. my headpiece is custom though, not commercially produced.

Don't worry, we'll be able to tell, Oso

You get extra points if you can show the label, but that's pretty hard actually. Remember:
The TOP 5 NINJA STARS will be selected by a special Ninja Council comprised of a panel of KungFuMagazine.com and Tiger Claw experts.
Technically, you could wrap your head in a 'got qi?' t-shirt and do that ninja mask like the gal in Xiao3 Meng4's post above. Of course, you'd have to show the label there to make that work, otherwise it'll read like a plain black T. Note that there were some DQs last year (and our first entry above is a DQ) because it's not TC gear.

If you feel that it's not clear, you can just state what part of your costume is TC gear in your email when you submit your entry to NinjaStar@KungFuMagazine.com.

Experts at KungFuMagazine.com and Tiger Claw of course

Duh. I'm one of those experts. You'll all get to judge the top finalists, just like last year.

As for your couch, organize your own contest. This one is strictly for my ninjas.

I wish someone doing this contest lived near me, we could have a ninja showdown
