If we endeavor to speak another language, we should accept the language on its terms and think of it in its terms instead of translating it into our terms.

For people who do not speak another language, it is fair to do the best we can in translating it, understanding that no translation is perfect.

Small forest is a pretty safe translation, the fact that forest is not written "tree-tree" only poses issues in the smallest sense.

Taiji is another thing. Direct translation does not give the cultural background in taoism to actually give the meaning.

Still, it's an online quiz, so I can be understanding of it's limits. Plus, if I let it chap my hide, I've got crack cream.
