I'm sure I'm not the only person who's seen this Wong sifu from the U.K.
Anyone know his lineage or background?
Just curious.

It is bias to think that the art of war is just for killing people. It is not to kill people, it is to kill evil. It is a strategem to give life to many people by killing the evil of one person.

I like him...he's funny.
"I don't know if anyone is known with the art of "sitting on your couch" here, but in my eyes it is also to be a martial art.
It is the art of avoiding dangerous situations. It helps you to avoid a dangerous situation by not actually being there. So lets say there is a dangerous situation going on somewhere other than your couch. You are safely seated on your couch so you have in a nutshell "difused" the situation."
I like alot of his stuff, and I especially like his delivery-funny as ****!
I'm not sure exactly where he's coming from-is he being funny, is he trying to reach a specific audience? Is he starting a cult?
In all honesty, I don't think you have to use offensive language, or street language, to show how "street tough" Gung-Fu is. I much prefer the Scholar Warrior approach.
There are plenty of guys out there teaching who are pretty hardcore and are also refined in their presentation, which I believe shows TCMA in a better light.
btw-Randy Williams is also funny-"Fuk'em if he can't take a jut!"

I like how he switches back and forth between broken English and a funny British accent.

I don't know but he seems to do a lot of drills off of the continuous punch drill from what I have seen.....
he's like a cross between a shaolin monk and a bulgarian soccer coach, lol
From what I understnad he is not hong kong Chinese but from Vietnam or somewhere like that.
Although his physical skills are very good his wing chun lineage is unknown to most including me. He probably learnt off a lower level teacher in uk or from someone in mainland China as I think he has went there to study taiji and the like.

I've only met him once, and he is a genuine 'character'! Very intense and very, very powerful. I think his WCK originates from Vietnam, but he has always avoided telling people who taught him! That has no purpose (he says) and it hasn't stopped him outselling practically everyones DVDs!
Good luck to the man as he obviously has money to spend and a message to promote
