    Nice vids!

I'm interested to hear what knifefighter and others will have to say about this type of training...

Probably that it's crap because he's not testing it on an aggressive, non compliant opponent. Seems to be their only argument....

Nice videos by the way! Thanks for posting them.

The same guy who said who can't do arm control without clinching? That sealed the deal for me.

Well, there is no testing VS live opponents, that is true, but the vids aren't about that, besides, as I mention in the 4th clip, the PE fist is to be used just like any other fist so if a left hook works then so does a left hook with a PE fist, perhaps more so.

Exactly! For some reason people always see the PE as some mystical strike that would never work in the "real world". Thanks for the vids. I especially like the heavy bag one. Also, I enjoyed the fact that you pointed out that you normally don't use the tip when you hit. A lot of guys get that one wrong.

    peace

On subject, to me the PE fist is a "hidden gem", a "concealed weapon" along the lines of a "kubaton" or a "tekko".
The thing is that you do need to forge it, I learned that a long time ago, the hard way.
Fighting a resisting opponent means you don't always hit what you aim for and more often than not, you hit something hard.
Also, I don't use it in a "special" way, I use it as an "extension" of my fist, though I tend to use it on the inside a lot more than from the outside.
Like I mention in the clips, at least for me, hooking and uppercutting with it works really well, but as the last clip shows, the linear strike works OK too.

    Thank you
As with all things, it's the "little" things that can make all the difference.

Nice stuff Paul! You Da Man!

The emphasis on conditioning cannot be stressed enough! PE Fist needs long term conditioning!

Thanks, I tried to make the videos short and sweet and to the point.

I understand there is no live testing but you are showing bag work and conditioning (or forging as you call it in the video) Thing is, I'm sure they will say it's a waste because it needs extra training (the forging) that "it takes away from valuable training time" seems to be the norm.

And PERHAPS they have a point, certainly it isn't for everyone.
