Since this place is really screwy at the moment I would like to make a positive thread and thank those that have helped me form my opinion of TCMA, martial arts and training in general
In no particular order
1) Merryprankster, his thoughtful posts on the value of sports training in general and grappling in particular really opened my eyes a lot to aspects of training I had not thought about, and I have not looked back since
2) Dale Franks, again like merry his posts really opened up my eyes to the reality of fighting and how we should train for it, and it was always fun reading his posts and his grappling, full contact fighting and stickfighting knowledge will be missed
3) Sevenstar, always a balanced and informative read and again helped shape my thinking
3) Ironfist, his posts in the S and C forum have always been informative
4) Ronin, again always a thoughtful read and showed me how a TCMA guy can train and re-woke some interest in the TCMA process for me, and for all the cool photos of naked girls
5) David Ross, Always fun to read his posts and whilst everyone here claims to have the real deal, its nice to hear from someone who actually DID train with a living treasure and still follows his tradition of training fighters
6) taai gihk yahn, has a real knowledge of the body from both a western and eastern approach, and his put downs are always funny to read
Honourable mention to masterkiller, dragonzbane76, iron eagle 76, goju, drake Yum cha for thoughtful insightful posts and conversations
Right enough of the soppy stuff back to the arguments, banning and threats!
