How does anybody become a grand master of anything after a scant 10 years?
Kenneth Lin was only an 22 years old young man in 1999. "a 'fan' of VT" in Canada...with less ten months of training under the 18 lohan teacher, Tio...and a grand master of (__________) after a scant 10 years? Just don't know if people can be excited about this brand new history of wing chun from the VTM.

"From Lin’s original writings of documentation, and correspondence, you will see he mentions the following…
*In 2003: Japan – fast talking bartender
*In 2002: Indonesia – Dive bar manager of cheapest liquor around
*In 2000: Surabaya Indonesia – Looking for a Wing Chun teacher. Lin meets Anthony Chung Che Man of Vikoga Wing Chun.
*In 1997-1999: Canada – 22 years old burger boy, waiter and busboy"

Imo, most people still don't know much about where and when and how did this black flag wing chun story begin???...but something happened between 2009 and 2010?...and what happened to the history of Yim Wing Chun and the real legacy of Ip Man?

What happened is, there were never any references about Black Flag Wing Chun (or the variants of the words in various languages) until end of 2009. If you see the messages from username 'samchian', which I believe is Kenneth Lim, on and since 31 Dec 2009 he edited and deleted a bunch of his old messages, adding references to Wing Chun and distancing himself from NCK / Ngo Cho Kune. -Robin Wijaya

When I first come to Canada, I learned a diffrent version of the VingTsun which focuses more on the foot-work(moving your body weight from 1 leg to the other) while you`re trying to `make a bridge` to the opponent.- Lin
What's the name of this wing chun (VingTsun) teacher in Canada?
