UFC/WEC Merger

I know it's a couple weeks old news, but what are your thoughts on it?

I for one, think it's great, the UFC cards will be stronger, I will be interested to see a TUF season with 145 and 135 pound guys. I think this will open up a whole talent pool for the UFC, as typically (at least in boxing) there are usually more hispanic and asian fighters in lower weight classes. (once again, using the boxing model)

I read somewhere, the WEC has a smaller cage than the UFC. If thats true, I wonder how much if at all, that will effect the WEC fighters transitioning into the UFC.

Really I didnt know that. I think the ring craft will be better since they had a smaller ring to work in so a bigger one will give them alot more room to move.
