I was never too sure what dale did wrong, other than rub people up the wrong way, he talked about grappling, full contact fighting how to prepare and do both, both of which he had experience in, he talked about how badly in his views TCMA guys trained for fighting, and when challenged asked for proof he was wrong, and when challenged him self put up proof of himself fighting full contact…..I know those things (backing yourself up with actual evidence) can be a bit radical on forums but hey what you gonna do ban the guy…oh wait that’s what happened
The actual irony was when people posted clips of full contact sparring and fighting on the wing chun forum he was the one defending them from the guys saying it looked terrible and nothing like wing chun

Yes, KF NEVER made blanket generalizations that were attacks on all kung fu, never generalized about all kung fu people having the traits of the worst, on a kung fu forum.

He's gone, big deal. There's plenty of people on here who have full contact experience and experience in different styles presenting the same info without the annoying and constant generalizations applied to everyone who does cma.
If you need a forum to wage war, perhaps your sparring time is a bit lackluster.
This is why many here are LARPers. Anyone who had experience in a real forum cluster**** could point out why based on your posts. Having posted on unmoderated vbulletin forums in the day, I can tell you that a real spammer would make you wet your pants and cry for your forum mommy.

...and my endless disdain for irony in all it's forms.
I haven't been posting much since the bans, but I've been reading, and there's been just as much posting, more on topic posting, more content, and it didn't devolve into everyone agreeing, but people generally being able to disagree in a manner less like frikkin children. This pretty well disproves the idea that, without caustic jerks, we could never have good discussion, which is the whole rationale for the MP's and KF's, their whole mission.
I'm willing to bet that Gene bans a lot less than on other forums, especially so-called no holds barred discussion forums.
