    Looks like he feinted his opponent into blocking low. Watch as he moves in for the kick. And watch his opponent's guard come down momens before the kick is landed.

    if you look closely at one of the angles he didn't even connect with the kick!

    Okay I got onto YouTube and looked closer and high def and he clearly connected.

    I watched that fight on tv and it was a good fight. The kicker got some speed ( a boost) from the cage while he was moving in with the kick right before the contact.
    Visit the past in order to discover something new.

    That was pretty awesome. Looked like the knee he raised for lift is what drew his opponent's guard down.

    And yeah really shows that what can work under pressure is a bit more open ended than a lot of 'fighters' seem to think... it's all about comfort level.

    Keep it simple, but simple is relative to one's preparation. Certainly it's not a move I'd consider 'realistic,' but there it is. Looks pretty real.
