    Any ideas on what form of kung fu has the best punches/punching combos and techniques?

    Any martially focused style will be on par with any other, imo. Just different.
    For whoso comes amongst many shall one day find that no one man is by so far the mightiest of all.

    people are willing to take some punches

    but not so much with elbows.

    ba ji, mantis -- all have good elbow techniques and elbow combo

    None of it measures up to my 32 step, 8 winged, 15 tentacled, 57 clawed two headed mantis style.

    Except for Black Tiger, which has better punches because that's what I practice all the time.
