    May June 2011 SHAOLIN SPECIAL

I know, I know. Our March April 2011 hasn't even hit the newsstands yet so it seems rather presumptuous to bring up our May June 2011. However, I'm encouraging you all to subscribe early as there will be two special inserts for subscribers in this issue.

The first is a special limited-edition DVD, produced just for this issue.

The second is a special card for Conquest Online with a scratcher that reveals a unique password to get you 155 TQ points.

Don't get left out. Subscribe now!

Thumbs up May / june 2011

    Thank You Gene

Got my May/June Magazine today, excellent work. The DVD that came with it SHAOLIN BODHIDHARMA CANE is a really nice gift. The DVD is well done , it gives people a very good insight into the Cane and how it is used. I haven't finished reading the entire Magazine but it is as always excellent.

The quality of the photos, pages, articles, information etc is great, very impressive.

    Thank you

In honor of our Shaolin Special 2011

I have a few Shaolin-based articles lined up for our e-zine. We'll be running them for the duration of this issue being on the newsstands. Here's the first installment.

Kung Fu Training in China: Pursuit of a Dream by Clemente Liberto, the sequel to his article, Shaolin Training in China: From Expectation to Reality.

Thanks for supporting us on the newsstands, PalmStriker

I hope you enjoy that DVD. It's actually a rough cut of our new DVD Bodhidharma Cane & Shaolin Tonfa. The free insert DVD has the complete single Bodhidharma Cane form. The complete DVD adds basic movement drills, applications, narration by yours truly and of course, the double Bodhidharma cane (AKA Shaolin tonfa). NOTE: The complete DVD is only $9.95.

    We also offer Master Kits:
Bodhidharma Cane and Instructional Bodhidharma Cane & Shaolin Tonfa DVD: $23.99
Tonfa and Instructional Bodhidharma Cane & Shaolin Tonfa DVD: $22.99
Bodhidharma Cane , Tonfa and Instructional Bodhidharma Cane & Shaolin Tonfa DVD: $35.99.

Handmade Bodhidharma Canes ~ available now for only $18.99! We're importing these directly from makers at Shaolin.

Response has been really positive so far. I've had good feedback, much more than the usual. Readers are particularly interested in tonfa. Sales on the Bodhidharma canes are so brisk that we might have to reorder very soon. Thank you all for your support on this. I have a personal attachment to the Bodhidharma cane, as I've discussed in my book Shaolin Trips, so it's very gratifying to be able to bring it to America.
