Bush and McCain were right - military tribunals are the way to go

Looks like the GOP was right and the community organizer was wrong. And it only took the guy 2 years to figure it out!

"President Barack Obama said Monday that the United States will resume using military commissions to prosecute alleged terrorists held at the Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, detention facility.

In the announcement, the president said his administration remains committed to closing the controversial detention facility but will rescind its previous suspension on bringing new charges before military commissions. The commissions are military proceedings rather than trials in civilian courts.

Obama also called for prosecuting Guantanamo detainees in U.S. criminal courts when appropriate, and issued an executive order calling for periodic reviews of suspects held under indefinite detention."

just because obama caved to pressure, doesnt make it a righteous act... obama is a pu$$y... he has ZERO backbone and from anyones perspective that isnt far right, obama is anything but a lefty... real lefty consider obama a joke... they think he's a coward and a consummate politician... of course he'll go and say its the best decision yadda yadda yadda... but it doesnt make it right...


and mccain is the biggest waffler there is... he's worse than john kerry... geeez... one campaign he's a progressive republican... the next he's as far right as you can get without literally sticking a bible up ur ass and forcing everyone around you to sing the national anthem every hour on the hour...

remember in 07 when he was sooo progressive... the guy is simply a politician... nothing more... nothing special... when he retires, the world will be just that much better...
