    Heads up for ebay members....

    Greetings,

BEWARE of any follow up emails from ebay that tell you that your paypal payment did not go through and that you need to resend payment.

1- Check your paypal account and view your transaction record. If it shows that payment has been made, disregard what ebay has sent you.

2- Alert the seller of the situation and let the seller know that you will be keeping him informed about what is happening.

3- Complain to ebay. This is different from people pretending to be an ebay company. This request to resend payment is actually coming from ebay. You will also find the request in your emails at the ebay site after logging in.

Sounds more like they spoofed e-bay's e-mail address.

    Hi Drake,

It is coming from ebay. Either it is some kind of glitch or someone in their company is ripping off millions.
I have received spoof stuff in the past. The difference is that when you check your emails at the ebay site, the spoof stuff is not there (proving that it is spoof). These resend emails are there, point of origin.

whats the scam tho? the seller gets paid twice? i guess if its ebay they get that extra commission... but its not like they were asking to resend the money to a new account number...
