The Democrats are not creating private sector jobs. They are creating more Gov't jobs. And the GOP is axing Gov't jobs. Let me let you in on something, Gov't jobs cost the Gov't money, while private sector jobs make money for the Gov't. I hope the Democrats fail because the more Gov't jobs they create, the further intot he hole we go.
For the sake of argument, let's agree that all this bad stuff is occurring.
The part in bold is all that matters. We are taking away people's rights over this stuff. So it darn sure should matter if it's caused by man or just nature being nature. To me, the Constitution gives us rights, and it doesn't come with caveats. The only thing worse than taking rights away from The People, is taking them away under false pretenses.
Where is the 'facepalm' icon when we need it?
Are you serious?!?!?! I don't know about you, but I like my rights. People fought and died for them, and for someone to just say we should give them up is horrible. And especially when that person admits it might have ZERO to do with the cause of the problem in the first place!!! So, do we only get those rights back if we prove The People aren't the cause?
He said he wants to "spread the wealth around." That's a socialist, plain and simple.
Yes they are. Now 'the rich' are pledging to GIVE AWAY half of their wealth.
Here is a list of the Top 50 American philanthropists. You go throught that and then come back and tell me how greedy Americans are:

So jamming through legislation that effects about 1/6th of the US economy is what he/they promised? I missed that one, can you please link me to Obama saying he was going to be the most bipartisan President ever except on healthcare?
So make a list of all they've jammed through while locking Democrats out of meetings. And don't mention Wisconsin, as we are A) talking about the Federal Government, and B) they left on their own valition so of course meetings were held without them.
So you're defending a liar? We were promised Gitmo would close, it didn't. Bush was bashed for starting wars on his own, yet the community organizer bombed Libya without Congressional approval. And FYI, Bush got Congressional approval before he acted with force. But I guess now Congress doesn't matter if the UN says it's ok.
And yes, we are saying things are dire. Are we supposed to lie? Or sugar coat the truth? Are you saying we are not "broke"? FYI, it was Chuck Schumer who got busted on a live mic admitting the Democrats are to use the word "exteme" as a talking point when describing the GOP. While the GOP is trying to come up with a budget, the Democrats are trying to come up with a campaign game plan. You tell me who cares more for the country?
