How many BJJ blackbelts are living in the US?

And out of these how many of them were promoted in the US and not in Brazil?

Also, how many BJJ blackbelts are there total, in the world?

There are maybe a few hundred BJJ Blackbelts total in the US. Maybe a third of them or less are American BJJ blackbelts, the rest are Brazilian. Off the top of my head the ones that come to mind are Ken Gabrielson in Westminster, Roy harris down in SD, Chris Brennan in Irivine, and Michael Jen up north in San Jose. Most are in California with the LA/OC area having the most in the state with SD and Northern about even.-ED
