Do you still like these kind of music today?

I just find these 2 songs that I have tried to locate for many years. Since I didn't remember the name of these 2 songs, I couldn't find it. Today but some luck, I suddently find those 2 songs what I love it so much when I was young. Just try to share it here and wonder if you guys still like this kind of music.

ykw that first song has a very surf sound to me, like beginnings of surf music style where there is the crossing from the 50s sound but i like really the style, for some reason reminds me of the bands like that, idk. the second song has a bit of a different sound though.

    bawang lol freaking awesome!

I remember the surf dance came after twist, monkey and before agogo, soul. I was agogo dance champion once.

agogo dance champion!! wow you always learn something new about people. thats cool.

such good sounds. i think even today those sounds are still very original, it was a short period of time when those types of music were very popular, so there are not too many people who play that anymore.

kind of different sound but i always really like this song by the knacks, this one has lyrics my sharona. i also like all kinds of music, there are some heavy metal bands that do cover of this song, and with the more modern popular sounds it is still a very hip song i think.

    original

It's cooler when old songs get a fresh coat of musical paint so to speak.

    Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qN3kC_4xURA

classic old school. A couple of guys called madcon brought it up an back as well, i like this because it's closer to the original song which was plenty fine to begin with.

I am waiting for classical redux that don't involve Yngwe Malmsteen wailing out a paganini piece note for note on a strat.

Old surf music updated with a phat beat and some grinder axes would be cool.

No rap though, that's getting old. hip hop hit the wall lately. Nothing new or exciting about it other than a lot of late to the game half arsed urban poets with a synth. lol

sorry hip hop, but you kinda suck these days...

anyway, yes, I like music as long as it resonates within me.
Kung Fu is good for you.
