Awww. I do it out of love. I hate from a place of love.

    I think Donnie's great.

But you gotta admit the plastic surgery is a little out of control.

Ray, to get back OT, check out Gallants. It's not a major big production. Actually, it's a small film, but it's got great heart, especially if you're an old skool type. That was my pick for 2011.
    Bash Donny?

I agree that while Donnie is the best at this time, not every Donnie Yen movie (or movie with him in it) has outstanding fighting in it. One great example of that was Dragon Gate Inn. Legend of the Wolf is only OK, but only one or two good fights in it. Seven Swords is pretty good, but Donnie's performance in it wasn't really outstanding. Donnie makes a LOT of movies, so once in a while they can be hit or miss.

There have been others, IMO, who were as talented onscreen as DY in their own way physically, but also were much better/more versatile/more charismatic at acting.

speaking of donnie the last good movie i watched was the lost bladesman. i liked the history in it even though loosely based and it showed one of donnie's fav weapons which seems to be the guan dao. also shaolin 2011 was excellent.

well i liked them both for different reasons to be honest so I cant really pick one over the other. one had a great message about buddhism in it and the other showed some conflict in china between liu bei and guan yu so both rocked.
