yes. practice with a bigger and heavier "rod".
good for practice grabbing power for the hand, strength for the arm, upper body movement and steps etc
but have to be careful not to hurt the wrist.
my point in the first post.
yes kung fu is so much so about the learning/developing process or journey.
not every one may become a legendary fighter.
but all may enjoy or learn something along the way.

if you are not so good, people may know it.
as long as you are making an effort to learn and progress--
